The Kissing Game

Bring on the Poetry

Place a paper and pen at each table. Each table has to write a love poem and then come up to the podium or head table to read it. The MC or Wedding party should make sure that the poems are collected immediately after they have been read to avoid duplicate readings.

Sing a Song that has the word "Love" in it!

A whole table stands up and starts singing. When they finish serenading you, time to kiss

Table Name Trivia

Name your tables with titles of things that are important to you, like: the street name of your first house, where he proposed, the name of the place where you met, where you first travelled together and so on. If people want you to kiss, they have to come up and tell you the story behind the table name.

Providing Wedding Advice

Have your guests come up to the microphone and give a piece of wedding advice. The better the advice they provide; the better and longer the kiss.

Clinking of Glasses

If you're not into games and want to keep it simple and easy, stick with tradition. Your guests will only clink their glasses 4 or 5 times maximum. You should be careful with this item and make sure you are not liable for broken glasses at the venue.

The Classic "Monkey See - Monkey Do"

i) Couples get up and stand in front of the head table and kiss. The bride and groom have to copy whatever their guests did...everything!

ii) Put all the names of couples in a hat with yours in there 50% of the time. Each time glasses are clinked, the MC pulls a couple's name and they show you how to kiss.

Ring My Bell

Place a silver or gold bell on each table with an instruction sheet to its purpose. Have the DJ play music throughout the evening with the theme of bells or simply the song "Ring My Bell" and the guests must ring the bells on their tables when they hear it. Once done, you kiss! This way, you have control of the amount of kissing you will do but still let the guests have fun in making you kiss!
