Lovers Come Together! |
| Welcome
animal-lovers in British Columbia! The excitement is starting to
build.
The kick-off for the 2009 North Shore and
West Vancouver SPCA Paws for a Cause campaign starts June 1. It
will culminate with our walk event on Sunday, September 13, 2009
at 9:00am.
Our goal this year is to raise more than
$50,000 to supply much-needed funding for your local SPCA. We
welcome everyone to come and join us for all of the fun!
On event day, the walk portion begins at
10:30am.
Take part in our
event by collecting pledges, forming a Pack or donating online.
You can also get involved by volunteering to help plan the event. |

Join
MC DJ Copious and Sound Explosion Entertainment
as they help make this year’s Paws for a Cause
event the biggest ever!
Plenty of fun for the kids, awesome first
class vendors, face painting, balloon twisting, J.P. Fell
Pipe Band to kick everything off, Nicole Wong with the
walk warm up, Dog obedience demos, and of course
the ever so popular Dog Poop Relay Race. There will even be a
BBQ and don't forget the Frozen Treats!

| The
West Vancouver SPCA cares for stray and sick animals on a daily
basis throughout the entire calendar year. Including but not limited
to Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, and Birds; the shelter is a full service
saving grace for animals in distress. The SPCA is a not for profit
organization that is built on the foundation of volunteers and community
members. Each year the West Vancouver SPCA has a fundraising event
called the Paws for a Cause event which creates awareness for the
shelter and also allows for education in battling cruelty against
animals. The Sound Explosion Entertainment family are not only proud
owners of two wonderful cats adopted from the shelter, but also
have two dogs which creates a full household of unconditional love.
DJ Copious is a full supporter of the shelter and the work they
